The ginger is washed, sorted, sliced, and dried to the appropriate moisture level for convenient storage, transportation, and use in the spice, tea, beverage, food, and industrial ingredient industries.

This product is suitable for spice importers, herbal tea factories, sauce factories, confectionery factories, spice blending units, powder grinding or extraction plants. Mita Food can supply sliced ​​ginger, ginger pieces, ginger chunks, ginger flakes, or ground ginger as required.

raw material area Ginger is grown seasonally in Northern, Central, and Central Highlands regions of Vietnam, as well as other areas.
Season The main season is usually from November to April; however, it can be supplied year-round from dried and stocked goods that meet quality standards.
Supply output We supply according to orders, contracts, and seasonal plans; we support large-quantity or small-specification orders for factories.
Main packaging 10kg, 20kg, 25kg/PP/PE bag or cardboard box with inner liner; as required.

Specifications for importers

Product type Dried ginger slices, ginger pieces, ginger chunks, ginger flakes, or crushed ginger.
Ingredient Mature fresh ginger is cleaned of soil, roots, and damaged parts, then sliced ​​before drying.
Handle Washing, sorting, slicing, heat drying or air drying, moisture content checking, removing impurities, and packaging.
Color The characteristic pale yellow, yellowish-brown, or light brown color of dried ginger; it should not be unusually burnt black.
Taste The ginger has a warm, spicy aroma and a distinctive pungent taste; it has no musty or chemical smell.
Size Slices are 1.8-2.2mm or 3-5mm thick; piece size is 2-6cm or as required.
Humidity It is recommended that the moisture content not exceed 12-13.5% to limit mold growth and ensure the quality of international shipping.
Impurities The target area should not exceed 0.5%; there should be no visible soil, sand, rocks, hair, plastic, metal, or foreign objects.
Microorganisms and residues Control Salmonella, E. coli, yeast/mold, pesticides, heavy metals, SO2, or aflatoxin as required by the market.
Preserve Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place; avoid moisture, direct sunlight, and strong odors.
Expiry 12-24 months depending on humidity, packaging, and storage conditions.
